Artwork guidelines

Get these right and your print will look exactly as you imagined. We check every file before production and tell you if something needs attention.

01

Resolution

Supply raster artwork at approximately 300 DPI at final print size. A 30cm wide chest print therefore needs an image around 3500 pixels wide. Images taken from websites or social media are usually too low in resolution for large prints.

02

RGB and CMYK

Our online studio previews artwork in RGB, which is how screens display colour. Printed output is produced on our production equipment and may vary slightly. If exact colour matching matters, tell us before you order and supply reference values.

03

Transparent PNG

Save logos and graphics as PNG with a transparent background so the garment colour shows through. A white box around your logo will print as a white box.

04

Vector artwork

SVG artwork scales without losing quality and is the best option for logos, lettering and embroidery. Convert live text to outlines where possible.

05

Safe areas and boundaries

Keep important detail inside the safe area shown in the studio. Anything crossing the print boundary may be trimmed or repositioned.

06

Bleed

Bleed applies to edge-to-edge printed products such as wrap-around drinkware. Extend background artwork slightly past the trim line so no unprinted edge appears.

07

Fonts

Use the fonts provided in the studio, or outline your text before uploading artwork so it reproduces exactly as designed.

08

Copyright

You are responsible for holding the rights to any logo, image, character or text you supply. We cannot print third-party trademarked content without permission.

09

Proof approval

Before checkout you approve a proof of your design. Please check spelling, colours, sizing and positioning carefully — production follows the approved proof.
